In 2010, we introduced our second generation Type Approved BNWAS BW-800
Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System also known as a dead man alarm system.

The purpose of a bridge navigational watch alarm system (BNWAS) is to monitor bridge activity
and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. BNWAS BW-800 is produced
in accordance with new requirements from IMO and the new IEC 62616 performance standard.

A Salinometer is a small instrument for measuring and supervising the salt content of freshwater produced by distillation of seawater. Uni-Safe Electronics produce and market Salinometers of high standard using the latest technology.

Both the SL6000 & SL6005 have been Type Approval tested by DNV indicating that the Salinometers have been tested according to the requirements from e.g. Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyds, ABS and Bureau Veritas.
